Bush Kinder
Our bush kinder program provides a nature play setting here amongst our local bush land. Bush kinder helps us develop our gross and fine motor skills, climbing trees and navigating uneven surfaces, fantastic opportunities to assess risk and attempt challenging activities while enjoying the great outdoors. Our bush kinder program is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, which provides children with a sense of being belonging and becoming.

Here at TPS we believe that children are unique beings and that each child learns differently and at their own pace through exploring environments, both natural and intentionally set for purpose and discovery. We thrive on creating meaningful relationships with children to scaffold their development and enhance their learning. Within the preschool setting, children are given endless opportunities to build relationships and navigate their educational journey in a safe, secure and supportive environment.
Our Community
Community excursions are not only an exciting change of scene from preschool, but it also provides a whole host of benefits for children. TPS can be seen exploring our local area on regular community excursions. Being a small country town, we pride ourselves on being able to support our local businesses and build a connection between the children and their community.
Community excursions expose a child to a range of different experiences and enable them to gain a sense of the world in which they find themselves.
The children learn about road safety while getting to know different spaces in their local community and can experience the natural environment outside of their immediate world inside the centre.
